We are the leading Wind turbine distributor in North Carolina. We offer quality MINI 5 wind turbines for residential, commercial and government entities.

WHY WIND ENERGY?

Wind energy allows us to replace the motion of air generated by the wind and turns it into clean, emission-free power for individual home, business and community organization. There are several components of the Wind turbines that allow it to rotate the turbine blades. These key components are the blade, the Hub/Rotor and the Generator. Without these three components the wind turbine cannot function.
For consumers wanting to generate their own green power, installing a wind turbine may be an option for your energy saving needs. Wind turbine can help cut energy costs and protect the environment.

COST BENEFITS OF WIND ENERGY

The energy industry has grown tremendously since 2010 when wind power generated about 2% of total U.S. electrical energy. Today, wind power represented over 30% of all U.S. electric generation.

Advantages of wind turbines:

Wind turbine produces a clean source of energy and helps save on energy costs.
Protects consumers against fossil fuel price volatility and Protects the environment. Wind energy can be easily combined with a solar system to provide additional values to homeowner.
In developing countries, small wind turbines are commonly used for rural energy applications. Rural electrification of schools, clinics, administration offices, homes, farms, whole villages, and small industries can be less expensive.
Small wind turbines are also used to reduce operating costs (OPEX) On off-grid cell phone (BTS/RBS) sites. Properly sized wind/solar hybrid systems have been shown to save 70-90% of diesel fuel consumption and reduce diesel run times from 100% to ~10%.
Small wind systems are also saving operating costs at numerous military sites around the world.

WIND COMPARISON TO OTHER ENERGY SOURCES

Wind power is perfect for decentralized rural electrification. In areas with good wind resources (5.5 m/s+) wind power is competitive with photo-voltaics, biomass, and diesel generators, but is usually more expensive than micro-hydro. Wind resources vary over a wide range and have a big impact on the cost of energy from a wind turbine. Coastal areas, open plains, and hilltops are good for wind resources.

How Does Wind Turbine Works?

Wind is another endless energy source that when it is taken advantage of, could improve our environment and the health of so many Americans.
Wind turbines operate on a simple principle. The energy in the wind turns two or three propeller-like blades around a rotor. The rotor is connected to the main shaft, which spins a generator to create electricity. The best way to look at the wind turbine is to think of it as a reverse version of the operation process of a ceiling or standing fan. The ceiling/standing fan uses electricity to make wind, while the wind turbine uses wind to make electricity (Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy).
